I like to use at least 15# line when making spinners so the line is more rigid. Seems like they spin better. The latest jason mitchell video of pulling spinners on DL got me all horned up for open water!

I have a top for my boat but have never used it. It is kinda low and It feels cramped and hard to see out of. A family member used to have a 2121 warrior with a top that was tall enough to walk under and that was really nice!

I like a MH 32" with 10# fireline. Lipless cranks are really popular up their. especially the Live Target. However, spoons seem to be working just as well if not better this winter. Big spoons. Think dare devil sized spoons.

Guy, what is the white box on the bow? Nice looking boat. There sure is a ton of room in those tillers but just not my style. I like the protection from my walk-though windshield on my tyee more than having the open space. Especially when its cold out or I have the wife and kids with.

golds and silvers are my go to on both DL and LOW. Hammered gold especially on LOW. bead color varies but I like to start with green and red. - - - Updated - - - great, now I am all hot and bothered thinking about pulling spinners on a sunny afternoon in July drinking a beer or two.

Same here. i cant wait to start pulling spinners. although alot of you guys dont care for this method, it is my favorite and most effective way of putting fish in the boat. I like to tie my own. Gives me something to do on a rainy day.

One that you can pay cash for. Or at least dont get carried away with how much you spend. I know alot of people who make 50k and have a 35k boat. not very practical IMO.

    Boat floor restoration

I agree about the heated garage. However, instead of working on fixing stuff in the boat in the spring I usually end up giving it a half-ass cleaning and just sit in it while drinking beer and hiding from the wife and kids.

    raising OB motor

Good question. Similar size boats but different hulls. Not sure were the batteries are in their boat so weight in the bow could make some difference.

    raising OB motor

it is a 135,,, but I do wish it was a 150. It works fine though. I'm actually suprised how well it does on a boat that heavy. Just wondering if simply raising the motor a hole will gain some performance and also wondering if my inlaws motor needs to be lowered.

That is a very good point. That is my I always have my usb battery pack that I can charge my phone 3-4 times off of when I am on the ice.

I have a 1999 1850 tyee with a 135 opti. I think it performs alright. ok holeshot and 45 mph with just me and running on fumes but usually around 42. My inlaws have a 2013 1875 crossover with a merc 150 4S which has good holeshot and runs upper 40's. When driving my boat I trim it up quite a...
