    Recarpet old boat

After a second thought , aftermarket products might be ok , but without the washdown hose. It wouldn't be good if moisture got underneath the new flooring so the wood stayed wet. I'd have a lot of questions for MFG.

    cloud seeding...

Sadly, we all are. The costs of cloud seeding are paid with funds from the participating counties and cost-share funds from the State. In recent years, about two-thirds of the project was paid through county funds, and one-third by the State. https://www.swc.nd.gov/arb/ndcmp/pdfs/q_a.pdf

Probably double the tags with half the success rate alright but probably also twice as many gut shot or poorly placed shots on deer that would eventually die and never make it to the freezer.

That and a wash down hose is what I would do. Carpet in a well used fishing boat doesn't make much sense to me because it just gets smelly and attracts flies.

    Garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's never too late but it would have been better when the stalks were 10-12 inches no matter what color they were. The big stalks are ok too but they get stringy and less flavor. - - - Updated - - - We have more than we can use so most goes to waste. It grows like wildfire up here . - - -...

    SB 2315 / Lockout

You have to be careful what you wish for but I bet a few of us would have enjoyed life before the homestead days. This is worth reposting. An Indian Chief was asked by a government official, "where did the white man go wrong?” He said “When white man find land, Indians running it...

    Garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our neighbors used to collect one gallon glass jugs and wrap twine soaked in gas around them and light the twine on fire then dip the jug in cold water and the bottoms fell off, they worked like a mini greenhouses. Mom always used shake shingles both for wind and cutworms.

    Garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else have rhubarb coming out of their ears this spring ? Wife has harvested a bunch already , I never used to like it when I was younger but now she started cooking it down and making it into a smoothie with strawberries and freeze in ice cube trays, better than ice cream IMO.

    Ramp Coditions & Low Water

I still chuckle about the young whippersnapper who posted an ice thickness report with pictures of a bunch of rocks on the ice, I forget what ramp but he got reamed out pretty good so he went back and cleaned up his mess.

    Shelter Belts

I've had best luck with native trees. If you see willows in that area you can cut saplings and soak them in pail of water for a week or two and just push them in the ground close to the pond without digging a hole and they should grow like weeds.

    Shelter Belts

It all depends on how much time and money you want to spend and what you want for an end result. I'm not sure why CRP gets a bad rap , I guess people see a poorly thought out conservation plan and then blame the Gov?? This is my experience with CRP. I've had two contracts one 10...

    Shelter Belts

How many acres would you guess the slough is and has it been drained ? NRCS has always been good to visit with in my area and they will give advice on a conservation plan. - - - Updated - - - Depends on the lay of the land and watershed size but I put ditch plugs in a couple sloughs and...
