    Well seeing’s how the weather is supposed to turn to shit here shortly, I dug my batatoes ( as my wife calls them) and this is the biggest one this year. Planted 30 hills and got 3.5 five gallon buckets.

    So with pheasant season opening Saturday, has anyone been seeing any decent pheasant numbers? I have only seen one here and there, nothing to get excited about. Still a lot of corn and beans for them to hide in though. Sounds like the possibility of 4-10 inches of snow in the next week...
