    Memories and a half. I had one in my little Ranger pickup and one in my '78 Lincoln. Also set one up in my room to talk to my farm buddy 4-5 miles away. Simpler times for sure. Cobra was a great brand of radio and it was hard to beat a Wilson antennae.

    Slower current areas out of the main channel are where you want to set up for eyes. Inside/outside bends, confluences, behind a jam, etc. Also, your best bet is from about an hour before dark and an hour after dark. Daytime fishing tends to be very slow. Never did much early morning either...
