    Pop-up vs Flip Style

    Like others I have both. Most of the time it's the popup fatfish. Buddy just bought that giant 94 sq ft insulated clam popup Scheels had for sale for $350. Damn that thing is big! Was super easy to pop up as well. Maybe a tad too tall, heat was a ways up there.

    Smallmouth bass tackle

    Lead head jigs and plastics, catch all the smallmouths you will ever want for practically nothing. My mom and my youngest love fishing for them. When we are walleye fishing they always ask "when are we going to go fish for fun?" ha ha ha

    You really need to go out in big waves with all of them and make your own decision. I'd buy one at least a year old, either a holdover or some "pro" who will have the best of everything on it. Good luck

    Rod holders

    I've put several dozen on boats of all kinds. Ram, Scotty and folbes. I'm a fan of Scotty's, simple, great extensions and they just plain work. Those rail systems are sweet, rails work well also. Congrats on your boat!
