    Pheasant opener 2017

    As expected birds were down at least 80-85% in our area so we spent most of the time shooting trap this year. G&F sure dropped the ball on this one, shouldn't have even had a season. Or at least just have a couple week one or something.

    Advice needed!

    Was it a fixed or mechanical head? If it's fixed I'd go looking as the head was tearing things up as he ran off. If you think he's hit well no matter what give him 4 hours and start looking. Lanterns help.

    It's still a good deal on a dependable motor. Hell I just rigged up a new style 72" this fall. Took it out and it didn't work, had to take it in and have the head replaced and we hadn't even used the damn thing yet! Repair guy said he was seeing all kinds of problems with the new ones..WTH.
