    Fyi I take my boat in each spring. It costs me about $160. New plugs change oils. I could save a little and do it my self but its much nicer to find out any problems before I want to take it out for the first time.

    Had similar issue yesterday. My battery connection for the accessories was broke. Drew enough current to run depth and live wells but not the trim.

    Financing on a lower cost boat can be sketchy. Even a new boat can have major issues. Look at your current boat on a six year loan. If the motor blew could you drop the 3-4k for a new motor? It would suck to make payments on a boat sitting in the garage that doesn't work. I would dump everything...

    I will hypocritically agree. My son did Hunter safety last year and has been counting the days and practicing ever since. Now my daughter could have the same opportunity without the same Hunter safety and practice. Granted my daughter is a better shot... And probably more responsible.

    Wow with the change in the youth tags my son and daughter can each get their first dow tags this year! With her only being able to hunt the early season she'll probably have to fill it before him. This could be fun!
