    The biggest tent mistake I ever made was selling my 12 X 17 wall tent to buy a 12 1/2 X 22 Denali. That Realite material that Cabela's pushed sweat like a --- well never mind. Anyway, the Cabela's Alaskan Guide are very nice.

    split grip or traditional?

    I don't make my own rods, but I try to find a split grip every time I purchase. I think I feel more with a split grip combined with one of the new no stretch lines.

    Wow I didn't get real impressed until I noticed that 700 yard target is three separate three shot groups all under 1/2 inch. That's great shooting.

    I googled picture of elderberry leaves. There are seven leaflets on the compound leaf and arranged pinate. I think maybe your right. Maybe you should get a five gallon jug and some yeast.:;:thumbsup

    I enlarged the photo and although I can't see real well it's clear it's not dogwood. It looks like it has pinate compound leaves. Unfortunately I'm not home where I have references. Nice looking bush I think.

    Are the stems red? At first glance it looks like Red Osier Dogwood. Is it growing in moist soil? The berries are good bird food.
