    Not complaining. The thread was alluding to the fact they did not have much eastern participation. Just an observation. I would love to fish it if I had enough time to put in the pre-fish effort.

    I saw on the site they said "350 in Verado only". I imagine it is a weight thing because the Yamaha 350 is a V8 an weighs a bit more.

    If you fish early and late(spring and fall with cool temps), the full windshield will be a lot more comfortable. A guy can plug the gap under the center shield and add a heater if need be. - - - Updated - - - BTW, nice looking rig.

    If it is truly 100 miles, they probably need extra fuel. Those 300-350 Verados on a 21 foot boat will get about 2.5 mpg around 4000-4500 rpm. They might get 3mpg if they are only running about 25mph. If they got the hammer dropped they might get 2 mpg.

    The way I see it is if you have the Lowrance stuff already you can buy this package and sell the transducer on eBay. If you don't have the stuff, you still have to buy the LSS2 for side scan for 300 bones retail or less if you are a shopper.

    Correct, the LSS1 will function the same. It is just not offered for sale anymore. - - - Updated - - - Also, you can still plug it into the LSS1 box. The new unit will just negate the box.

    Yes. All new units will work with older structure scan transducers. - - - Updated - - - LSS2 is the unit that will mate up to this head unit for SI.
