    How concerned are you about weight? I have one long range 308 that's about 14 lbs with optics, full mag and bipod. Another 308 is a "brush gun" that's about 10.5 lbs with optics and mag. I fully loaded 5.56/223 can be kept under 9.

    Seriously, BUY YOUR TOYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. And yes, have kids early and close together. They'll share some of the same friends and look out for each other. The sooner you have them, the younger you'll be when they're out of the house. You want to be 60 and still living with your kids?
