    In the early 2000's I went out in mid August during the full moon. I trolled deep diving cranks to 25' and targeted suspended fish. If I got shallower than 35' I went deeper, out to 55'. This was in Mobridge out over moose flats. I hooked 6 or 7, but only landed 4 (wife was my partner lol)...

    I don't like 2 day tournaments. Unless, each day is separated. Mobridge JC tourney used to have a 3 way payout, one for each day, and one overall. I also like a 3 man option.

    I just caught one with a $100 reward stamped on it. It ha no phone number to call, do I contact ND GFP? - - - Updated - - - Never mind it went online n registered the tag on nd gf website. You have to take the tag in to get paid.

    I fish to relax and enjoy the day. Eating walleye is a nice bonus, but that's my main goal. I'm fishing a tournament next weekend so id like to win some coin. I'll be happy to get my money back, but my goal is to win it.

    How to target drum?

    I caught five today on cranks, and they are one fish that will feel like walleye. I noticed today that their head shake is a little more violent than a walleye though.

    I have and will fish crappy weather, but I live less than a mile from the ramp, and sine I have summers off, I usually only go when its on the nicer side.
