    I guess I have had good luck herring, I like to.throw the herring or sucker into the sink overnight to thaw, goes on the smelt.hook much easier. Smelly but that is why herring is best very oily and much tougher than smelt.

    Correction I do see one bucket or pail in guywhofishes pictures Johnr is a bucket and a pail the same or different Also if I use a bungee cord on my tarp is it still a bungee cord or is it now a tarp strap.;:;banghead:confused::;:help
