    Hidden Rough Fish Delicacies

    We kept and ate a couple cat fish out of McKenzie last weekend, it was really good. I have tried eel pout, cat, and gold eye once. I guess I just prefer to catch, clean, and eat walleye, and almost always toss the rest back into the lake.

    Take the child with, and have them help pick it out. I am cheap when it comes to spending on stuff the kid will out grow in a year or two, however this is not the place to save $20.00. If they help pick it out, and its comfortable for them, you will not have to argue with them about wearing it...

    I used to be a short rod guy, but have really taken to a 6' 6" or 7' to be my preferred for all fishing. It seems I have a better feel of the bottom, a better hook set, and look better with a longrod in my hands...like I usually do.
