    Freezing frogs for bait

For ice fishing I'd say hook through the nose and dead stick on bottom.

    Freezing frogs for bait

I just put them in a container and put em in the freezer. Takes about a half hour to wake one up. That's strange about the pellets. The bass I kept would eat them fine.

    Freezing frogs for bait

I've done it with grasshoppers to feed aquarium LM bass in winter. They will become lively again!

    Freezing frogs for bait

I would put them "asleep" in a vented zip lock then put them to "bed" in layers...

    Should have known better

Yeah, as said above that's nothing to get worked up about. They will only get bigger and more shallow as fall progresses. Remember where it was and pound that area. There might be a little hump or something. Be sure to leader up your lucky ShadRap. If this effects the bite on a crank, I've...

    dove opener!

Anyone use anything smaller than 7 1/2? I've thought about it but never tried. My favorite 12ga round is the gray hulled WW AA 1 1/8oz. Good rds, not that spendy. Also fine for the first bbl early season grouse/pheasant.

    Yellowjacket bites

Guy, that's the difference(kick ass defending the kids BTW). E has a little situation in the basement requiring no more noise than a flashlight and a can of Raid. YOU could've done the same thing in the evening with the long range spray or a cup of gasoline(no fire involved). I have a lot of...

    Yellowjacket bites

I don't think the shop vac is necessary or advisable in your situation E. Just go down at night with a flashlight and spray it down. Worm's situation was different from what I gather from each post. Also, you won't even need the long range stuff. Spray down the two or three guards then...
