    Must feel real good

It’s travelling ball not school, sometimes there are massive differences in talent levels and there is only so much you can do. Most kids are playing traveling ball by third grade these days, if you are starting later than that your probably getting your ass kicked for a while. I don’t think the...

    River is open....Well sort of!

The best part about living in Bismarck is the yearly decision, do I hit the late ice bite or early river bite or one of each on Sat/Sun...no down time around these parts :;:rockit

    Flooding on the west side.

It peaked somewhere in the low 1850's....it didn't go over the spillway and last year had waaay more snow pack in MT. Also this year is the perfect example if why they cant release water earlier like so many always complain about. You cant release a bunch of water into a system full of ice...

    Flooding on the west side.

The flooding is being caused mostly by ice...not excessive runoff. The MT snowpack is normal to below normal and Sak has 15' of space. Unless there are some insane record breaking spring rains there is no way the lake is going over the spillway. Its just going to be another good water year to...

    Flooding on the west side.

You would think they could change something on Oahe so they weren't taking water from the water column where the smelt roam. Didn't they change Sak a decade or so ago from taking from the bottom to taking closer to the top? Sak just doesn't suffer from the smelt flush like Oahe does.

    Flooding on the west side.

    Record was 2011...this looks like it will be #2 (1) 30.38 ft on 06/21/2011 (2) 28.00 ft on 04/01/1912 (3) 27.15 ft on 07/14/1975 (4) 26.60 ft on 03/08/1994 (5) 26.46 ft on 03/26/1978 (6) 26.10 ft on 06/26/1997

    Flooding on the west side.

Why is the Yellowstone flooding so bad this year, wasn't there way more snow last year in eastern MT?

    North Dakota has worst drivers

I went to college at UND, and yes the Canadians are bad drivers...but to be honest there was a noticeable difference moving back to Bismarck. Bismarck has the worst, slowest, most oblivious and clueless drivers period.

MT & SD are 80...its great! No reason we shouldn't be.

    Tires- recommendations

Tires seem to be about the most impossible thing to get a clear answer on what is or isn't a good tire. There are just so many variables in vehicle/tire rating/tire size/air pressure etc. Two guys can have the same tire but one guy has the 10 ply on a 3/4 ton and the next guy a p-rated on 1/2...

    Tires- recommendations

All the AT tires throw rocks, although i don't think my Toyo open country are as bad as the BFG KO2 i had previously. A guy needs to protect anything you are towing especially on gravel roads. I also put some rock deflector type running boards on my new truck, because my old one got beat to shit...

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

The lack of an update lead me to believe things are not going well in the recovery process. I cant believe nobody has driven by this thing yet and posted a pic.

Strikemaster putting an end to gas augers?

My biggest issue with the electric augers is longevity. A gas auger taken care of can basically last indefinitely, will there be any original 40v strikemasters around in 10-15 years. Those batteries only last so long and i assume strikemaster will only make that battery for so long, so at some...
