    Lots of good information here. There are some drawbacks. They need lots of water. I put a board across mine and set a small sprinkler on it. Then water. Also they can raise tomatoes up into the wind. I use my raised beds as wind barriers. Cucumbers love them!

    There are problems with leggy tomatoes. If you bury them deep most likely the soil will be cold and that will slow down growth. I bought some once and they are hard to plant sideways as they are somewhat brittle. They break easily plus the wind isn't kind to them. I've raised several hundred...

    I think that the picture of Beaver Bay was from 2007. We brought the dog and shotguns. Hunted just north of Beaver. Where the lake used to be a lake.

    Drove across the interstate bridge today. The ice looks like it’s ready to pop. If it stays frozen until early next week that could slow things down. But after the cold snap we might be seeing 60’s. Might.

    My doctor said how about frustration. It's off the charts. Takes me ten minutes to tie a hook on.. if I'm lucky. Will power definitely can help. Life isn't always fair. Hopefully you can find some peace.

    A good friend of mine spent some a few thousand at the chiropractor for his neuropathy. Didn't do any good. But as my doctor said since there's no cure any thing that could help might be worth trying. I would try the gummies. The smoke works.

    Neuropathy is a terrible disease. Whereas my pain isn’t terrible I have lost my sense of balance. I can’t hunt anymore. Every step is an adventure in terror. I have trouble walking to the kitchen. It’s not what I expected for retirement.

    If you get full blown neuropathy you will be begging for Lyrica or Gabapentin. You will be twitching like a night crawler on a hot tackle box.
