    Blossom end rot is caused by not enough calcium in the soil. There are a lot of products you can apply to help along with your normal fert. I use what is called Rot-stop. And I fertilize with a simple 10-10-10. maybe 3 times during the growing season.

    Tied up a assortment of butterfly blades this winter. Had a few last summer that did well enough to put up a winters supply of wallys and crappies. Soon as the garden is all in going to see if they work again.

    I put together a Ruger 10/22 with a laser just for those night running vermin. The yard light would always reflect in my normal scopes so about useless. Has worked real good so far on a pair of stink-cats.

    The only drawback about the wild strawberries that I have found is that they are really tiny. - - - Updated - - - I bought a dozen rasberry plants (bare root) from Gurneys 3 years ago and now I must have 500 plants in the patch and all the berrys I can use.

    My dad also had the horse draw potato equipment but he revamped it to be pulled by a model B farmall. Took a lot to the work out of it except for the bagging and that wasn't to bad cause all the relation came and got their share. LB
