Langeliers is where I put in.

    Any Birders here?

Most likely, they come through the Missouri River corridor in their migration routes. Long Lake NWR down by Moffit tends to be one of their stopping over points. I live just east of Lincoln and last year (or year before) I had over 100 of them circling above my place for a few hours on their...

Sak Newtown area is going strong!

Oahe is also on fire. I've done well there the past couple of days. Pretty much everything I saw or used caught fish. Not as good of size as you mention, but numbers are pretty solid.

    No wolves for you!

Eventually, this is an effort to accelerate the inevitable. The kicker here is the tolerance of the neighboring state/area of its own wolf population. If they have a population under the carrying capacity of the land, one might expect only the occasional explorer to go looking for new...

    Found fishing rod on highway23

Well, it might be my 6'6" medium heavy Ugly Stick, or my 7' Scheels Outfitter, or it might even be my 5' 6" Ultralight I use for bluegill. Then again, since I haven't lost a rod lately, the above can be eliminated from this thread?.?.

    Graphs

Shit, I still use my fishing rods to determine depth when less than 4 ft. You all suck.

Onx= 7mil lawsuit for trespassing wth

That has already been done. Hence the lawsuit from this prick of a landowner, he's claiming the fact that they were found not guilty has lowered his property value by some $7 million. The question now is simply one of if this constitutes a "taking" by the government. I say it doesn't, he...

    SMOKE

I saw where Canada put out a plea for firefighting help from the "world", specifically USA, NZ, Australia and Mexico. Kinda seems to me they would like to put out the 130, or so... fires up in Canada.

    The fish learn?

I think you can teach/train individual fish, but doing so to change the behavior of the species...probably not so easy.

    SMOKE

Depends on if the pilot is only VFR certified (Visual Flight Rules) or if the pilot is IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) certified. If it's a commercial flight, shouldn't be a problem.

    New Knee

Maybe it's just I'm paying more attention as I get older, but knee and hip replacements are pretty darn common nowadays. Shoulders are getting there as well. And while I am sure there are horror stories, all I know who have had them done here in ND have been successful. However, they aren't...

    LEWT Tournament Winners BUSTED!

Or, the dog kennels found around tournament time.

    LEWT Tournament Winners BUSTED!

While I will let Shorts speak for himself, I don't think I'd say the above never got any publicity around here. It's just that one needs proof to pin the dog kennels on someone and the cutting of Highway 281. Let's face it, these two clowns were probably getting away with cheating for years...

    LEWT Tournament Winners BUSTED!

Cheating Bass Turds This is for the naming of the boat competition, seems to sum it all up. I bet that would be a real conversation starter.

    Has anyone named their boat?

Note to self, never PM Vollmer. I wear that sh!t as a badge of infamy.

    Bad Winter in Wyoming

So, I just had the pleasure of cruising through Wyoming from Gillette to Rock Springs, on two slightly different paths the last 2 days. I saw somewhere between 50 and 70 antelope over those two days. When's the last time someone who was windshield watching for antelope only saw 50-70 antelope...

    Winter kill

Bloating = Floating There are, I assume, differences in the lethality of low dissolved oxygen amongst the species. Trout have very high O2 requirements, catfish...not so much. While I am sure there is overlap, different species probably die off progressively as O2 levels decrease. This may...
