    The other nice thing about west facing house is your deck is shaded in the summer evenings, and since the wind is usually from the NW it mostly protects you from wind. My west facing garage never gets hot in the summer, but i do have white 2" insulated doors that really reflect the heat off.

    There where wheeled atv/sxs all over the ice last weekend. There were also trucks everywhere but i did see a few get buried. I did also see a minivan on the ice. We went on at Warner road and it was easy travel.

    The Jumbo's just have a whole different shape and look to them. When you catch one you just know because of the hump on the back and wider girth/height. Id say the jumbo look starts at about 12" but not always, depends on lake.

    Nothing better than a good skillet (potatoes, onions, peppers, meat, cheese) with a couple over-easy eggs on top. An over-easy egg on a burger is pretty damn good too, I had one last night actually.

    Its not that i want the river to stay frozen, but it does really suck when a guy is on a trip to Winnipeg or a ski trip to MT in March and the river opens up early and people are hammering walleye in your backyard.
