Black Bear in the back yard!

Neat video. It is actually not that terribly uncommon to see a bear out in this area that has wondered its way east. I used to work for a bee keeper for 5 years and he has had bear damage on hives as far away as Hope and Page area, boy can they make a mess.

    Definition of "Giant" and "Monster"???

Sooo what would be considered a giant or monster size for Jackalopes? Is it the weight or antler size or does it need to be a combination?

    Definition of "Giant" and "Monster"???

I don't really care for most of the hunting fishing shows but the few that I do watch would be Eastmans Outdoors and In-Depth Outdoors. I find those pretty informative.

That right there is our favorite way to eat leftover brisket in our house. Normally on the day I make brisket a couple homemade beer breads are made.

    Homemade smoker help

I have spent many hours just browsing smokingmeats forums, and it is tons of info and ideas. Like justwingit said it is amazing what people have come up with and I often wonder how many adult beverages help spawn their ingenuity.

    Smoking babyback ribs

All good advice above. One thing I have tried is marinating in pear juice overnight then just applied my rub I make, like stated above be careful with salt. to get my rub to stick I have used mustard, canola oil, beer, juice and they all work fine to help the rub stick and to help give the smoke...

    UTV / Side by Side

I still to this day dream of when I can justify a Honda Pioneer or a Can Am Commander, the two I like best. I have looked at a lot of the Pioneers and some of them have a ridiculous amount of bells and whistles that just drive the price up even worse, I'm sure others are that way as well. As...

    No Muskrats?

Have noticed last couple years in my area the sloughs I used to see a lot on have been pretty scarce. I am not saying that is a bad thing though

    Out of state pros

I think/would hope the pros and anyone that uses a boat on a regular basis would know better and be good about this type of thing. I can and have seen more casual not so experienced boat users do either a poor cleaning job or none at all.

    2017 Deer Gun Season

I think in some cases it is a good thing to get kids out at a younger age and other cases may lead to trouble, which is normally going to be dictated by the parents. My 5yr old daughter I would say is very respectful and responsible for her age and on the other hand there is a little boy in her...
