    I will be rototilling tomorrow but that's just because it's dry now. Might plant potatoes. Peppers and tomatoes will be planted at the end of May. When the chance of frost is normally past. I have planted tomatoes early with walls of water. What a waste of time.

    A neighbor of mine was fishing a ditch up at Devils Lake recently. He said it was very easy to catch his limit of 3 to 5 pounders. Said they tasted great! His family caught over 100 in two days. #$%^&>

    This is what my garden looks like later in the summer. I pick asparagus with a old filet knife. Just below the ground. When it is about 7 inches tall and 3/4 inch in diameter. Tender as can be!

    Better Grass

    I have about an acre of grass in the county. I don't mind mowing but not all summer long. So I bought a rural blend from ChesakSeedHouse. Turns green when it rains and brown when it doesn't. I never water the lawn, just my flowers and vegetables.

    Back in the 60s there were trout in that pond. One of my friends snuck in and caught a real nice one. I think Paul Wachter was the one that lived down there. Wachters pretty much owned everything down there at that time.
