    If you go to a shooting range which would you prefer from other shooters if you remove your hearing protection to talk to someone. Unmodified, muzzle brake, or suppressor? I can see this being a valid reason as well, even though I don't go to public shooting ranges myself.

    when I skin out deer heads I have started using the old 3 blade old timer knife my grandpa gave me when I was a wee lad. thin blades and easy to touch up edge on a stone plus three blade shape/options to work with. Otherwise cheap exacto knife is handy.

    My 2004 5.9 cummins with manual 6 speed has 112,000 miles so that goes to show the amount of use, had 47,000 in 2006 when I bought it.     Bought aluminum pair a few years back and they do help quite abit. But they can be noisy at times, still better than not having them.
