    Smoking Pit-Going Whole Hog

Pictures are coming. And thank you in particular to Kickemup for the help with running the pit with me and coleslaw prep. This was a really fun event with great friends family. We had everyone stuffing their bellies from 2yr olds to 75 year olds.

    Smoking Pit-Going Whole Hog

Well last night was pig roast and it was a success. Thanks to some help from friends and neighbors for their help and now looks like we will be doing this again. It all started Friday night trimming and getting the pig flattened out, 4:30am Saturday morning brought injection and seasoning and...

I've heard there will be ice on various bodies of water and I will partaking in ice angling excursions fairly frequently. Wife says I will drive her crazy if I stay at home too much:D

no more niners games for me...

Not just Crapernick but all these athletes that like to make public statements on grand stages because they have the right to, fine with me. BUT I sure don't see or hear any/many of them taking any of their money and going to areas that could use funding to actually make a difference, struggling...

    Smoking Pit-Going Whole Hog

It would probably be beneficial as my last attempt on someone was skinned and cut in half. It was a big smoker borrowed from someone else with a rotisserie. It turned out pretty good but found out that trusting someone elses equipment is a bad idea, thought I was at 225-250 all day just to find...

Have looked at a lot of their other models form a little cheaper to the more expensive and like them all. easy dial tension, good mag brake (I almost never use it though) and nice...

    Smoking Pit-Going Whole Hog

Thanks Pigsticker. The pool idea is good, I was trying to think of how to keep it cool overnight. I like the idea of a wet marinade but think I will stick with my dry rub beings I have used it numerous times on Boston Butts, Ribs and last year kind of a whole pig and its a comfort zone for me...

    Smoking Pit-Going Whole Hog

Depends on how many crank baits and how much beer you plan to bring:D - - - Updated - - - I've done quite a bit of reading in the last 1.5 year on how I am going to make this pig which should weigh somewhere around 90-115lbs and think I have a pretty good plan, but wouldn't mid some input from...

    Smoking Pit-Going Whole Hog

I like the rocks idea. As for educator you bring up a lot of good pionts, rotisserie isn't for a pig just something to tinker with on smaller things like chickens. Heat is planned to not be direct but off in the corners. I know I didn't explain but I have 4 draft/coal adding openings around...

Come on, you know you're guilty....

I'm sorry, I know I need help but don't know where to turn:;:help. Sometimes it just so hard to catch fish so I try to follow everyone else or sneak up to the holes they drilled and fish them till they see me and chase me off, drilling holes in ice is hard work.

    new cell phone

If your looking to get away from bulky otterbox cases I suggest looking at life proof. I know a few guys that have them and really like them, I have no personal experience though. I still have a Galaxy S3 for a personal and a S4 for a work phone.
