    I’m doing a pork butt now for pulled pork tomorrow. First time I have done one but since all I have is time figured might as well do it now. So far it’s smelling damn good. Put it on at 7 this morning .

    I have a game hide one that works good. I don’t know how many birds it has carried but it’s over a few thousand and still going strong. It got lots of use when I used to guide a lot.

    I’m searing on the pit boss often. Doesn’t take long to get to 500. Not bad for flare ups but I don’t clean very often. Throwing a pork butt in for my wife’s Christmas party for some pulled pork in the morning. elk getting the seat after a slow cook to 115

    I just open the slide on the pit boss to grill. You have a charcoal grill at that point with minimal smoke if at all.

    Yep gave the gas grill away after using the pellet grill. I am a big fan of my pit boss.

    not a fan of the barrel burner as you won’t practice enough. The few times I have used an eliminator not really impressed. Just give me a scope with turrets a range finder and a good ballistics program.
