    I would spray with round up where you are going to dig then burn if possible gets rid of a lot of weeds and seeds before you dig and plant.

    Had a grandson that had the same problem, turns out he just wasn't into shooting, mother made him go with me and he didn't want to be there. Video games were more fun and less work. Some young people have the want and some don't.

    Have been seeing young clutch's of pheasants from golf ball size up to hen pheasant size. Deer fawns look like they are doing well. They got a lot of 9' corn to hide in.
