    Blowing a 5 amp fuse

I'd sure run it that way - it's likely getting near the end and needs to draw more than normal current to override the additional friction of the bushing that's getting dry and resisting rotation. I'd be getting the replacement arranged ASAP just in case in fails prior to season's end...

    All horsepower, no brains

It seems that you are not real familiar with conditions necessary for wake surfing vs fishing. A fishing boat underway during actual fishing doesn't disrupt everyone else within several hundred yards. Wake boats do that continuously unless they're sitting still.

    All horsepower, no brains

I'd say whoever is there first gets the nod. Unless it's a community hole known for fishing. In that case the wake boat should move on if the community shows up to ply the waters. : )

    All horsepower, no brains

Peer reviewed research found that... When comparing the boats under typical operating conditions at a distance of 100 ft from the boat, the wakesurf boats produced maximum wave heights that were ~2-3 time larger, total wave energies that were ~6-9 times larger, and maximum wave powers that were...

    All horsepower, no brains

The wakes from wake boats REALLY suck for everyone but the person surfing them. Owners of said wake boats often forget this. If conditions don’t allow for your fun to occur without negatively affecting other people’s recreation then maybe it’s not a day for wake boating.

    Good Booze

I LOVE me some dark n stormies. But after several glorious years I had to abandon my love - the sugar is so bad for inflammation I just couldn't take it anymore. I've switched to gin rickey - it took a while but it's been worth the sacrifice. I no longer yo-yo on my weight and dramatically less...

    Estwing Sure Split wedge

Right?... We've had minor league wood piles in the past and you are correct. We know we're going to be tortured with both little red squirrels and mice. That's why the wood shed's not up against the house (where it would have been handier to access). Neighbor's cats (4 or 5) are over here...

    Estwing Sure Split wedge

Some of these rounds are big (>24') but not cottonwood. My stove needs 18" logs. These "yard ash" which are known for stringiness and knots because they get lots of wind and sun. Some rounds take multiple whacks or get stuck in the SS but most split readily like ash normally does. It's not a...
