    There's a certain full body side-to-side "roll" or shimmy that certain jig weight, body, and hook length combinations have that is magical. I look for it whenever I pitch and try to attain it. I'm fairly certain it's key in many situations.

    What the heck? I rarely, if ever, suffer short-biting on swimbaits from what I could tell. Swimbait fish are getting after it - they're not sniffling around all conflicted about eating. - - - Updated - - - AND if they are conflicted I'll move down the shoreline and take my offerings...
