    Rod for pitching jigs

I have a bunch of Scheels ONEs. Too many of the longer ones though. If anyone wants to trade their 6'6" ONE for a 6'10" (or 7'?) let me know.

    Rod for pitching jigs

that's just MY experience - you know what guns/rods/beer/women tastes are like - everybody's different! I do tend to over analyze things as you may have guessed the whole time I'm fishing - if I'm not totally dialed in and "feeling it" then my mind races on why that is - what I can do to...

    Rod for pitching jigs

same goes for crankbaits that generate a lot of resistance (deep divers)... it gets tiresome for my elbows/wrists/shoulders on long rods under all day pitch-fest conditions (which I truly enjoy - but it gets harder as I get older) - - - Updated - - - one last thought - I loathe the longer 6-10...

    Rod for pitching jigs

I find any rod longer than 6'6" starts to generate enough wind resistance to the point where it approaches "break even" for effort vs. distance casted. 6' = perfect jigger 6'-6" = perfect flinger 6'-10" to 7' = awesome slip bobber or for bigarse baits I rarely chuck fishing in any kind...

    Rod for pitching jigs

BTW - the reason I was a smarty and posted spongebuns popcorneaterpants is because all the rod model #s and stuff gets to be too much so I quit trying. Once a "science guy", especially one who used to do a lot of coding and electronics stuff (ASCII, HEX, BINARY, BLAH FREAKIN BLAH BLAH BLAH)...

    Tracks needed for Lake Winnipeg?

ha ha ha - I am so toasted from all day on the ice that I can hardly see straight when night comes - Winni is not a great boozing destination for this guy

so in other words nothing is f'ing with the arrow once the release has been made? Great Scott! my groups are tight this is coming from a former state indoor champ (and 2nd place finish that same year to a drunk guy from Williston at the state broadhead at Buffalo Gap) of coarse we were all...

What keeps people from being bullish on the Schaffer Opposition? I haven't found any negatives with it yet. And it sure locks arrows in nicely for stalking. Just curious.
