    Lowrance question

    I have a gen 3 9” lowrance and a 12” carbon with side imaging but nothing live. I like them both. Only comment I have is the 9” is only large enough to comfortably view 2 split screens for me. I wouldn’t expect to see it split into 4 like your picture.

    It will be interesting to see some first hand feedback on the 2.7. The chart above tells me neither motor has changed so it seems the 2.7 is base now to keep the base price down.

    I have a 2015/3.5 Ecoboost that pulls my sparkly boat easily. I know you asked about the 2.7 but thought I’d reply anyway. In 2015 the 3.5 was more common than the 2.7 from what I saw. Curious if that’s still the case?

    Is there ever a good walleye bite during the day on sak through the ice? I generally fish the east end and it’s dead during the day.

    I am the king of small fish this winter. New Johns twice, small perch and walleyes but did get a 25” walleye the one trip. Sweetbriar twice, small walleyes. Geneva once, small perch. Struck out completely at Rice Lake. Early ice I did have a fun and successful pike trip with my dad tho.

    I agree with this. Unless something happens down south to cause them to reduce the flows, it will just pass right on through and not raise Oahe, unfortunately.
