    I once owned a 16ft Yar, side console, had a 75hp. I believe the max was 90hp. It was not under powered. I googled the 1785 BT and to my surprise its max is 75hp so not sure going bigger is even a choice.

    Thanks for all the good info. How easily can pike bite through Flouro? Easier than say 15lb power pro or is Flouro tougher? How about compared to a light wire leader? I typically use a light wire leader in pike waters ahead of my cranks but would switch to Fluoro if it was as effective.

    I have always thought that being in my unheated 20-40 degree garage all winter (in my boat) was better for the batteries than being in my 70 degree basement. As for leaving them outside in -20 temps......not so sure I would do that.
