    I've never killed an elk with a bow, but I have killed a lot of deer with fixed blade muzzy's. Cant beat that tip/ locking blades IMHO.

    I've used mud jacking before for work issues where curb/ sidewalk settle. It's a crap shoot. In my experience, works over half of the time, and typically there will be additional cracking. Good luck

    Whatever you end up purchasing- spend a little more now and be happy with it. Dont purchase on the cheap - you'll regret your decision in 2 years. I bought a cabelas KRONOS this spring. So far i like it. They had a great sale, a 20-60 x 85 was $700. Dont forget a sturdy tripod!
