    Live well leak

    Same happened in my dads old boat. We fought it for years before we figured it out. The live well bulkhead fitting on the side of the boat lined up perfectly on the bunk trailer so it bumped it and made it loose every time we loaded the boat. Never had a drop after that.

It is why they are making $130,000 boats with 400's and bigger, simply because people keep buying them. 1 on the dash and 1 on the front is plenty for most.     I still hear these stories from my dad and his friends. Back then multiple whoppers was the norm every weekend. I have seen lots of pictures of 10-13 pound walleyes from back then when you could use the big old sucker minnows.

    If I was you I would make that 3 hour trip worth it and sit somewhere with either just your bow and can shoot either or have both weapons with. I would choose to use both weapons and sit waiting for the sun to come up. Even for an hour to an hour and a half.

    My dads Remington Mohawk 600 in .243 was the first gun I shot. His side by side 12 gauges stevens was the first shotgun. First guns I bought myself were a Remington 700 12 ga in synthetic stock. And a Savage model 11 in .270 WSM.

    Fixed vs Mechanical Broadheads

    Grave Digger Whitetail special Chisel tip. They fly very well. Have shot 2 deer that have went about 60 yards. Blood trails were like following paint splatter all over. Used to shoot regular fixed blades but there was hardly any blood trail on 4 double lung deer. That is why I switched.
