From what I can tell the fish are deep, so yeah, that should work in theory. LOL. We always seem to find some fish, but finding the bigger fish (DWC week) for the tournament has been elusive...
Agreed. This spring and summer on Oahe has been the best I can remember for a long time. Will be headed to Sakakawea next week, I hope the fishing gets better. Maybe with the heat returning and lake leveling off it will pick up mid lake?
Sounds like the SD Model. The renewal month is determined by the first letter of you last name. So yes, there is some pro-rating going on, but you get to do it all at once. Makes it easy!
Yeah, its too bad that storm didn't back in to the west further. Things are greening up fast here now! The glacial hills area did very well with rain as you pointed out.
The lake herring, white bass, perch, crappies, etc have contributed as well. Oahe is loaded with those as well.
The eyes I was catching last fall near Mobridge were loaded with with young white bass.
Just trying to be a better person (I'm flawed) and be a better Dad to my kids. I've looked at things in the past few days to realize I need to better at some things. Working on it.
