    I didn't believe it either, until my buddy took me down there. About 7pm 6 other boats showed up. They all know the "secret" I guess. Nothing real big, but lots of nice eaters. One of the old guys that hangs out down there said the bigger fish come out after dark.

    I was up there a week ago. Hot bite right where the overflow spillway carved a new channel. Bite started around 6 pm. Go deep early then move a bit shallower as the evening progresses. Bigger fish come later.

    Yeah, another great idea ND needs to look into. Just let us buy the damn preference points. Great idea if you can't hunt that year, but don't want to miss out on points. A reform needs to be done. Perhaps they don't want to listen to the state to the south that seems to manage these things a lot...

    The big lake a biaaaatch. We were on nice fish Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Released numerous fish over 22 inches, lots of fat 18-22 inchers caught as well. That thunderstorm and front messed things up, as the next 2 days were tough. We caught fish, but those nice ones turned into 15 to 17...

    I caught a tagged fish in late June in the Swan Creek area of Oahe. It was not a $100 reward tag, but I intended to call it in, until I left the damn tag at the cleaning station! Oh well.
