    Mtn Climber~

My point is if he had stayed on the couch he'd also still be alive. And you're right his death was human caused, he climbed the side of a dangerous fricken mountain. He put the possibility of death into his own hands, I do the same every time I go out west. Difference is I expect a rescue to...

    Mtn Climber~

WTH kind of alternative universe are you talking about? How is your "analogy" on the same page, but my question somehow in a different universe? There is a Huge difference between a guy out boating and a guy climbing a mountain known for being dangerous. Should the dispatcher be fired...

So then shouldn't the families of the helicopter crew be able to sue the climbers and their families? Or do you think because they knew what they were getting themselves into and the fact that it's their job exempts them? Maybe they should sue the national park because they allow people to...

    Mtn Climber~

If all of my ducks weren't in a row I wouldn't go, my family will be well taken care of if something happens to me. It's nice knowing somebody should be on their way to help if I should need it, but there are no guarantees. I doubt you will find anything that says a first responder must...

It's more or less for my wife's peace of mind. However there is no call center with SPOT, you push the button and they send a chopper and hope your insurance will cover it. And your exactly right, I know the risks and undertand it may be difficult for even a chopper to pick me up out of the timber.

    Mtn Climber~

When I go out west elk hunting I don't plan on anybody else but myself to get me back out. I do carry a SPOT in case SHTF but I would never rely solely on it. And the idea of suing a rescue team sounds ludicrous to me. I know full well what I'm getting myself into. Hell, I go on the edge of...

    The Great Minnesota Muskie War

I thought news reporters were supposed to be unbiased. I have no dog in this fight but I can see both sides have a point. However that article makes me what to pitch the next muskie I catch on shore just to spite it.

Is this $207 hub/bearing service acceptable?

Price tag seams reasonable, quality of work...not so much.

    Pizza Corner pizzas

The chicken alfredo is probably my favorite pizza, I don't eat much of the other ones. Can't beat papa murphy's though.

    Looking for ATV input.

My Rubicon is a 2004, so it's pre-stupid red button, simple shift lever into reverse. The new ones have a little red lever instead of a button. I just wish mine had a reverse limiter override, I want to be able to go as fast in reverse as I can forward.

    Looking for ATV input.

Honda's are great, but shifting into reverse on the new ones sucks. You mentioned using a plow which means going into reverse a bunch. I'm sure a guy would get use to it after awhile, but the old style was way better. Trying to chase cows with a new one will drive you nuts.
