    If the velocity of the hevier bullet is less than the lighter there would be less felt recoil. If the velocities are the same the hevier bullet would kick more.

    Id dont kniw if its the same on a opti as it is on my black max, but the reservoir on the engine needed to be primed if it ever got low. Id just top it off and be good to go.

    I bought the Kamado style at sams club a few years ago. I love it. Much much cheaper than a BGE with the same results. Have no issue cooking during the winter the only challange is turning it so the wind isnt fanning the fire constatly.
