It's not like they weren't warned. Cold and electric......don't play well together. Electric cars in the northland is going to get people killed. I don't like to see folks struggle, but come on. The writing on the wall couldn't have been any bigger.
Hit him with Imodium or pepto in the evening and see what happens. Could be a partial blockage. Herc got the squirts when he got into the garbage one time and swallowed part of a sock. We used a bit less then half an adult dose as he only weighed 33 lbs or so. He came out of it just fine...
Wow! Actual scientific method in action. Observation, Sampling, Diagnostics, Comparisons to Controls, Hypothesis, Experimentation, Correlations between treatments, and finally Results and Action Plans. Hmm. Who'd a thunk?
Apparently Bass Pro in Alabama now has a pool for those special few. I couldn't help myself, but laugh at this. I hope you enjoy this little slice of idiocy on a brutally cold winter day. Let me know if the link works please. Thanks...
I was hoping for an easy winter for the critters. This doesn't quite count as easy in my book. Ice storm and now minus 40 wind chills for days. The critters are spending that energy currency that was built up by nice weather in December real fast now. At least the corn and alfalfa bales are...
Not going to complain. 50 degrees at the end of December. Haven't needed to fire up the snow blower. The power isn't out. I'm going to be thankful to Heavenly Father for what He's given and what He hasn't. That said, I'm not going outside anymore than ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
If anyone cares to hear what scriptures has to say about electing kings to rule over you instead of having Heavenly Father rule over you, just read I Samuel chapter 8. Then compare the description of what would happen to what we have now. Think taxes, the draft, and whom you will labor for...
This image implies that a bait ban actually does something to control CWD. It has been PROVEN TO DO NOTHING! I guess if you tell the lie for long enough, folks are STUPID enough to believe it.
Hot coffee for me is in the top 5. If I can have my hot coffee in the morning, my attitude towards life is golden and I can deal with almost anything. If I don't..............I make Stalin look like a part time sunday school helper.
Had the fridge on an inverter and battery. Which is why the half charged batteries were a lesson learned. The refrigerate and freezers are a priority for our house. If we lose power in July or August the food bill to replace what could be lost would hurt something fierce.
Sure. When you get toys.....play with them. Had the wrong propane adapter to run one of my heaters. Sometime in the fall, check the charge on batteries. A couple of mine were at about half charge. Once a year, run a full tank of fuel through your gas generators and then store them bone dry...
Well we survived 55 hours with NO power. That was a valuable experience. Not fun by any means, but very valuable. It taught us what was really necessary and what we could do without. I know "prepper" has been a name akin to "psycho" in recent years, but having a plan for when the power craps...
May all find greater faith in Heavenly Father and in His son, The Christ, during this time of reflection and giving of oneself unto others just as Christ continues to do for us.
My trolling motor (24 volt) won't pull cranks all day, so I would surmise that an electric kicker would probably have the same issue assuming the same size and number of batteries. If it takes more batteries then it becomes a weight and space issue. It just seems to me that having a 8 hp gas...
Every church I know is a 501C3 corporation. Every corporation is an artificial entity created by man. Corporation defined. - A corporation is an artificial being created by operation of law having the right of succession and the powers, attributes and properties expressly authorized by law or...
The wind in ND alone would make this a hard NO from me. I've been in 16 ft boats with 35 hp gas engines that had a bugger of a time going into the wind and waves to get back to the launch. Maybe in a small secluded lake like was mentioned, but definitely a niche market.
