    I will usually dissect an area with Navionics before going to a new area. Have 5-10 spots you want to try. I 'm usually looking for easy transitions from the basin areas to feed (shallow) areas.

    I still prefer the Frabill insulated tip-ups. Even for walleye. There is something very fun about hand-lining a walleye in.
