    I never even realized they could have been boating home from the bar. Kinda just assumed they were sitting around the campfire having a few and got the bright idea to launch the boat and take a cruise. does anybody know which was the case???

    Worm, the article I read said that this happened 200 yards SW of haybale campground. I think that means it was flooded trees right along shore. If I remember correctly the trees there dont come out very far there so I am thinking they were thrown from the boat into very shallow water or even...

    it said it was out of haybale. my first thought was it was probably to the west of there in front of the cliffs. just a guess though. that picture makes me sick just looking at it.

    Boat auto latch - launch and load

    I saw this the other day and am thinking about getting one. The boat I run now has the bow eye mounted really low so I can not reach it by leaning over the bow like I could on my last boat. This would make things so much easier especially when by myself.

    busted skag

    How??? There are two bolts that hold it on. I hit a tree and it sheered the bolts and I lost the skeg guard but it saves my prop.

    put a skeg guard on. they are about a 100 bucks. when I bought my boat about 2/3 of the skeg was gone. I put the skeg guard on and was good to go. This spring I hit a tree on DL and it broke off (like it is designed to do) but saved my SS prop. Put another back one back on. They
