    I've never "Cooked" anything over an open fire. Using an open flame just burned stuff. The temperature fluctuations of a flame make it darn near impossible to get an evenly prepared meal. I normally "Cook" over the coals as you get a much more even heat. If you have a cast iron skillet or...

    I haven't made or aquired a tumbler or dryer, but might if I was going to sell to a local buyer. No top lot furs yet, but still trying. Our coyotes will probably produce 1 top lot quality critter out of a couple thousand. I might have a shot at a top lot coon or fox though.

    Home made plaques with the shell casing, a picture, and small description engraved on a brass plate look really cool on a kids wall. When kiddo gets tired of it, you will then inherit that fine memorabilia to keep. Win Win IMO!!

    Thanks Arrow. You don't have to tan a fur to sell at NAFA. In fact I don't think they will even accept a tanned fur. Just flesh, stretch, and dry. It is most definately an addicting endeavor however.

    Let's try to give everyone a clean slate on NDA. The other site and all its DRAMA doesn't exist over here. I think a bunch of outdoors types can figure out how to police themselves, and if not, V-man gave the NDA members enough latitude to take care of the problem.
