    Don't rule out squirrels. Most any rodent and/or canine will chew on antlers for the calcium and other minerals they contain. I have a gadjillion squirrels where I shed hunt and it's rare to find one without teeth marks on'em. It's frustrating as all get out too.

    Not a big lake guy, but when I lived in Fargo I fished the confluence of the Maple and Sheyenne Rivers quite a bit. It's a community hole, but it gives up some fish. You can fish anywhere from the Dam on the Maple to the actual spot where the two rivers meet and you should catch something...

    Have you tried going to a junk yard and finding clear headlight covers to replace your old cloudy ones?? My jeep had the same issue before and that's what I did. Mine needs another set as we speak. Thanks for the reminder.

    For casting cranks on the Sheyenne, I go with husky jerks, shallow shad raps, and original rapalas. Blue silver and firetiger are usually my starting points for colors. Most everything else dives to deep for where I fish.
