    I caught five today on cranks, and they are one fish that will feel like walleye. I noticed today that their head shake is a little more violent than a walleye though.

    I had an old wally diver that had the colors of a small walleye. I haven't been able to find it again. I would focus on patterns that look like real bait.

    Yes, the hooks are bad, but it usually takes a northern to wreck them. I use them till they break, then put red treble hooks on. Eagle hooks from WalMart.

    My dad made us bury them in the garden. Post hole digger worked good. I never use a fish cleaning station. Now I just put them in a dumpster. Usually the one at the ramp here in Yates. I hope it stinks bad so the drinkers don't stay too long down by the ramp.
