    Did you adjust the trigger to light maybe. If so you might have to tighten it back up a little.

    Get her a 7mm-08. Take her out shooting. If that's to much of a recoil than get ahold of you local gun smith and get a muzzle break on it. Use ear plugs as needed. Could be a good investment. It's a caliber she could use for the rest of her life. Plenty of nock down power.

    Had my best luck with 52 grain hpbt from Sierra. As long as you don't hit a rib on the way in the damage to the fur is minimal

    Fish the edge of weeds. There's lot of them. 20 plus ft is we're you wil find the fish. Be careful out there. There are a few sunken islands out there with lots of trees just barely sticking out. Get a lakemaster chip for you hummingbird if you got one. I have been fishing th rock creek area...

    Getting your boat in the water should be no problem. Boat ramps are some what protected. Getting to a good fishing spot might be a challenge. I would fish south of Mackenzie. Water temps are 4 to 5 degrees warmer south.
