Sad to hear the suffering some people must endure. Wishing the best to both of you.

    Prayers needed

After having a spouse goes thru several cancers I can tell you that scan anxiety is horrible. The wait always seems too long with nervousness building each hour until the doctor steps into the office with you. I know it's very hard but try to keep finding the positives anywhere you can. I'm...

Too many have been affected by this horrible disease. My thoughts are with both of you. Sounds like you're in the right place for the best care.

    Patty Maker

I have the Automatic Burger Press attachment from Cabelas. It works, just too slow for me. I now use the Patty and Jerky maker attachment from LEM. Burgers end up square but we can knock out 25 lbs in no time.

    Moles, voles, gophers???

I've discovered that in areas I've sprayed with 2-4D/dicamba, these dirt piles stop. Must be a repellent.

    Flex seal for aluminum boat

I have an older aluminum boat that has multiple leaks. Has anyone tried coating the entire floor with Flex seal liquid rather than trying to address each individual leak? It has a floor in it so wouldn't be subject to wear. Not expecting perfection, just hoping to slow the seaping.

    wild asparagus

I've been looking for asparagus for 2 years now and have only found a few patches thus far. There's no specific habitat I can recommend but I would avoid wetter areas. It seems to live with surrounding grass or trees only, not in marshy spots. The best advice I can give is to learn what it looks...

Time to buy a new pickup?

Interesting topic as I've been watching 1/2 ton truck prices wondering when the best deals will be. I'm down to ford or ram. On my current ram I had rust prone areas sprayed with rhino coating as I drive lots of gravel. It has been flawless. So if I go with ram again will just have it sprayed...

Would love to start a massive asparagus patch from seed this year. Luckily I have multiple wild asparagus patches scoped out while I wait the 3 plus years it'll take till they're ready.

    Can-Am Defender XT with Cab

I've just started looking into this model as well. So far looks like the storage and durability are great. Very interested to hear what current owners have to say.

Jiffy 44 Pro 8 inch propane vs. K drill

I've been very satisfied with my Jiffy propane going on several years. Weight is a negative and once when it was 19 below it didn't start (not sure why I was fishing anyway in those kind of temps???). If I already owned a brushless drill I'd likely go with the K drill. Otherwise propane as they...

Garmin Panoptix- Is it the real deal?

Have not even touched my Vexilar since buying a Panoptix this year. Have used it in all kinds of depths and water clarity. In my opinion the DownView alone is worth the money. You can see so much more that just a few blips on a circle. I can watch schools of fish and see how they react to...

    Panoptix

I have one and have only had it out once so far. When scanning to the sides the fish have to be off the bottom to see them easily. Coming from a Vexilar I love the downview. While there is a slight delay, I'm able to see a larger area below me and actually can watch multiple fish at once even...
