    Mega Live

I have been using Mega live for the last two seasons and will be this season. I can echo your experiences. Bait tracking more than 50ft out gets pretty tough and I have not had much luck with it. If you turn the sensitivity way up you end up with a lot of reflection and noise on your screen and...

    Destination Fishing Trip??

Your talking my language YCbtx. I've fished enough in life at this point, both on good and bad trips and charters that I've gotten pretty picky and I dig pretty deep in research looking for the best fishing opportunities that are going to provide not only quantity, but more important the best...

    long range rifles?

I agree with the others, if your main premise is a 1,000 yard gun for hitting steel it's hard to argue against the 6-7 mm calibers. Great balistics with reasonable recoil. My prefrence is in the PRC's but even a good 308 or 7mm08 will do the trick if setup right. There's lots of great factory...

    Snow to Snowmobile

IDK, sure looks thin with a lot of grass sticking out on the Hilsboro DOT camera? I wouldn't ride my sleds on that but then again I don't like fixing shit either.

    Sakakawea Lake Level

I've canceled out on two trip to ride out west this year because of this. They just finally got the base snow pack that we normally see out there in December or no later than early January and here we are knocking on the beginning of March. Of course, the kid is coming into AAU basketball season...

    Sakakawea Lake Level

well, don't hold your breath for a big rise this year, the snow pack from here west so far is wayyyyyy below average and I don't see that changing looking at the weather or jet stream forecast. Its running less than 50% as a whole including the mountain ranges within the run-off basin.

    Forward Sonar Mounting Set Up

I run a BrewCity 60" pole on the drivers side of the boat at mid ship. The brew City Pole setup is rail mounted so no extra holes or mounting hardware is drilled into the gunnel.

    Snow to Snowmobile

Island park & West getting snow now and got wacked last week, I’m guessing it’s going to be pretty good this week and on out there. Otherwise it’s Jackson WY or Colorado. Bighorns are not good and just about nothing from there all the way to Michigan.

    Insurance premiums on the rise

The insurance industry is joke. They get you in with a low or competitive rate and then bank on you staying put and not shopping it for several years. And the more stuff you have to insure, the worse it is because making a switch is more painful. Seems I have to shop and switch every 2-3 years...

    Utility Trailer Floor/Deck

A-lot of sled guys are putting an epoxy coating on their trailer floors especially on there enclosed trailers to help keep moisture from soaking into the wood. I used a product called rock solid 20X Deck re-surfacer in my enclosed sled trailer with pretty good luck. If you are actually using it...

Sak, it's been a good run!

Nobody out west has any real snow pack. most places sitting between 45-65% average. Record low all through the west right now from the big horns all the way to Idaho. Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and California seem to be where the white stuff is dropping. going to need a big weather pattern...

    Contemplating a shop build

How about people post realistic #s in today's dollars so it's actually helpful for the OP? Even talking about costs 3 years ago is garbage and probably off by 30-50%.

    Contemplating a shop build

If you do it right and it's fully finished, full concrete with aprons, 12 or 14 foot tall decent brand overhead doors, insulated, liner panel, & wired. $200-250k isn't going to be out of the question if your not doing any of the work yourself. it'll depend where you are in the state also...

    Tires

The last 4 sets of BFG’s have all went 60-80k miles for me. And that’s lots of towing and lots of gravel compared to most people. Just getting ready for the next set in the next couple weeks.
