I love my KS47 pistol for busting through cattails or the woods down in my ravines. That 7.62X39 round doesn’t suffer too much velocity loss from a shorter barrel and is pretty similar in performance to the old .30-30 Winchester. I got this one in my ravine 2 years ago a little over 100 yards out with that Hornady A-max round. Dropped right on the spot.
