Carfax will also let you know where the vehicle was before. For example, the pickup I bought was originally bought by someone across the border near Grand Forks on the MN side and stayed there until it was traded in. For whatever reason, that gives me some peace of mind. Now, it could have been driven all over the country, but I don't know that haha.
