    Ultrasonica cleaner

I used an ultrasonic cleaner on my baffles for a while it worked ok. There were still big chunks of carbon that wouldn’t come off. I bought a cheap rock tumbler from harbor freight and wet tumbled them with stainless steel media and a bit of dish soap. After a few hours tumbling they come out...

    Varmintor 4.0/banish 30?

I completely agree with you. I ordered the 4.0 in mid November this year I recently got an email saying mine was received by the ATF on January 25 so it took over 2 months for mine. On the other hand I have the varmiter 3.0 and really like it.

Jiffy 44 Pro 8 inch propane vs. K drill

I have both augers you mentioned and I really like both of them. The kdrill is fast cutting and light weight which is really nice. For me I like the kdrill when the ice is 15” or less. The main downfall with using a kdrill is when it’s cold out you have to keep the lithium batteries warm or...

    New ice rod case

I was was looking at the eagle claw case as well. It shows for shipping dimensions that it is 43” long. Can I ask how long the case actually is? I’m looking for something I can get a 40” rod into. Most cases seem to be 34”-36”.

    Air rifles

I have the Benjamin trail 1500 .177. I used it as my trapping gun I have no problems dispatching coyotes with it. I usually just take one shot to the head I have tried lung shots and with certain pellets you will get complete pass throughs.

North Dakota State "B" Boys Basketball Tournament (GO STANLEY BLUE JAYS)

Id say there's a good chance that shot will make sportscenter top 10. I'd say there's also a good chance the kid that about blew his knees out in celebration will make the not top 10

    Lake Winnipeg Gear

There are some pick ups diving on but they are limited in some areas. There are quite a few areas where the ice broke up when it was 15-18" thick and created some big ice piles The atvs without tracks are getting to most places the snow is hard enough to dive over with them.

    Pop-up on Winnipeg?

We are up in Winnipeg right now fishing the west side to the mouth The ice seems much rougher than it has in years past there is not much snow on the lake to cover all the broken ice. There will be plenty of broken gear up here this year

    Lake Winnipeg Gear

We are up here right now. We parked at chalet in the small parking area. We have pulled a 4 place snowmobile trailer in there w/o problems when it's not full. It's rough getting on the lake from chalet. Have to drive across 10'+ ice mounds by the shore The lake seems very rough compared to...

    Pop-up on Winnipeg?

I have never had anything break on me while I've been up there I have seen plenty of broken equipment laying on the ice. When there's a lot of snow the lake is usually pretty easy going. When there's not much some of them ice shard patches can be pretty nasty lookin. And after watching the way...

    Pop-up on Winnipeg?

Haha. You are probably right on that. I have the Jason Mitchell flip over and I know that sled would never make the trip. The otters are a lot more durable

    Pop-up on Winnipeg?

I prefer to use a pop up vs a flip over up there. With the lake conditions up there I'd rather not pull my flip over on that lake. I've seen a few pieces from torn up sleds laying up there
