    17 cal vs 22 mag

I also have a Savage 93R17 with a bull barrel and thumb hole stock. It's a great setup for how we hunt the Pdogs....but for those that want to set up and shoot long range for them, the 17's are NOT the way to go.

    Z-grill

Camp Chef pellet grill with a side sear box for me. Have done everything traditional (meats wise) to bread, cookies, pies, cheese, pizza, mac-n-cheese, dips and more. Pellet grill goes to 450+. Have an insulated blanket for it and can use it year round (I think some of the newer pellet grills...

    Plow for side by side

You should be fine then, with my straight blade I just pick away at those hard drifts and take some time so I don't abuse the SxS. A V-blade should be better at that.

    Plow for side by side

I can't speak to a V-plow, but I have a Yamaha Rhino with a 5ft straight blade, and it works for me, but I have a fairly big lot where I can push snow around pretty far away. If you don't have room to push the snow, a far way away, don't bother with it. Hard drifts SUCK regardless if it's a...

    Cordless lawn tools

I have had the Milwaukee weed whip for 3 or 4 years now--similar to you, I already had some Milwaukee tools and it just made sense for me. The only thing I miss about my gas powered weed whip was the glorious 2 stroke fuel smell. If you're not in a hurry to buy--watch for good bare-tool sales...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

That's exactly what I was saying to myself when the old guy was having a breakdown....communication is a two-way street in this case.

Why do you reel left and right handed?

I identify as a right handed right handed reel fisherman....and have had this conversation / argument every time. It 100% makes the most sense for me to reel left handed and handle the fish with my dominate arm---however, every time I try and make an honest effort to make the change to the left...

    Deck advice for guy

Here’s a picture of what our stamped patio looks like. I have some better pictures someplace of the actual pattern but can’t find it. The stamp we selected looks like old wood planks.

    Deck advice for guy

Have you looked at getting concrete patio and have it colored & stamped? I did that a few years ago and it ended up being cheaper than going with composite decking. Other than spraying it down a couple times a year, zero maintenance and looks really nice.

One man ice house or small two man

I've had a Clam Kenai for several years and I absolutely love it 95% of the time, but I know it's not for everyone. I usually pull it with my SxS that has a plow in the front, and when I get to the spot I'm looking for, I put the plow down move the snow and then park the sled on a cleared spot...

    Inline Muzzleloader?

A handful of years ago I went with the TC Impact and switched the sights to a peep in the back and a globe in the front with a cross-hair. Very accurate, like 1.5" at 100 yards accurate, and that's all I needed. Super easy to clean, but did learn about ever 3-5 shots I had to give it a fairly...

I need a idea for snacks on the traeger

Not really a snack, but I made pumpkin & pecan pies for Thanksgiving last year and it was a hit....smoked the pecans first, and then the pies. I used left over smoked pecans and made some pralines which were excellent as well. Anything you would normally bake (cookies, brownies, chex mix...

    115 Mercury 4 stroke problems

Is it the foam air filter? I have an '09 90hp 4s that is basically the same engine I believe, and had a similar issue. Was not really an oil leak just the foam air filter basically decomposing causing issues. Googled it and it is a common problem and the replacement part fixed it. I think this...

    6mm Creedmoor

If the 6.5 CM = 6.5 Manbun, does the 6 CM = 6 Skinny Jeans? I think it looks like a nifty little round, and as KurtR said, it's one of the few rounds that I see on the shelves still. I read a little about it and looks like it performs similar to the .243. Most of the 6 CM's have a quicker twist...
