    Shingle~

Had them when I was around 13 years old. My immune system had gotten really worn down. Doctor said it was unusual for a kid to have them. I don't remember extreme pain, but do remember being sick as hell. Maybe I got lucky I had them as a kid?

    Upland bird vest?

I just got one for my son as well. I ordered a Browning Pheasants Forever strap vest. I was thinking at least with the strap vests he can adjust it as he grows. Time will tell how it works out. I have a Cabelas dog handler vest and really like it. I has nice features for a collar controller...

    gas grill...

I bought a Broilmaster gas grill several years and really like it. It is built like a tank and you can vary the distance from the grill to the fire by flipping the grates. It has the ceramic briquettes, so it does add a lot more flavor than the Weber style gas grills do. The down sides are...

TOURNAMENT FEE INCREASE....Game & Fish advisory meeting MONDAY 11/30/2020

I agree with what Elkhunter said in his post. The tax won't effect very many tournaments, and the revenue can be used for some nice and greatly needed improvements to our facilities. It just bothers me that some people blame the crowded ramps, cleaning stations, an lack of courtesy on...

TOURNAMENT FEE INCREASE....Game & Fish advisory meeting MONDAY 11/30/2020

Exactly, there are all kinds of fishermen running around with 70K boats, not just tourney guys. Not sure what ramp he hangs out at, but go to any access on Sak and look at the number of expensive boats, campers, ect... Because people have nice things, that makes them clowns? Look at all the...

    Pointing Labs

I bought one from Brad Donald @ High Point Labs near Watertown SD around fifteen years ago. He was a great dog with strong pointing and hunting ability. Not sure if they are still breeding dogs, but I would guess so.

    Tires Recommendation ?

Exactly what sportsman said. I almost bought a set of DuraTracs last fall, but was worried about them throwing rocks at my boat. I got to thinking about what I actually needed in a tire. I use my pickup to pull around 90% of the time, the other 10% would be hunting miles. I have a beater...

    Boat fails/shit happens 2020

Day one of a lake tournament this year, we decide to move and make a fairly long run. About halfway through, we are running around 61mph, I decide to bump the trim button to see if she'll do a little more. All of a sudden she rattles and comes off of plane. Put the motor back in gear and it...

    Big Muddy

Anybody know the boundaries for this? I thought about hitting the river Saturday, but want to stay out of the congestion. TIA.

    Terrova - Flashing F code

Also check the circuit breakers and make sure they aren't getting hot or have a bunch of resistance. Generally when they get old, they just get weak and pop under little load, but worth a look as well. Sounds like you haven't had mush luck with batteries since we camped next to you early this...

    Terrova - Flashing F code

You get the 24V in the plug. If you look behind the panel, each battery has a set of wires (12V +/-) going to the female side of the connection. The plug takes two 12V sources and runs them in series creating your 24V. That's why when you look at the inside of the plug, you can connect your...

    Terrova - Flashing F code

If you have the Marinco style plug wired to the trolling motor, it could be the "jumper" connection inside that plug. This takes the two 12V power sources and hooks them in series to create the 24V. It is basically just a thin strip of metal inside that plug. Removing the black plastic housing...

    Dog eats rocks!

We had a Lab that would do the same thing. He would usually pass them, and we tried to keep a close eye on him, but he would still get into them. Sometimes we would catch him and do the peroxide trick to get him to throw up. We were out of town and the folks were watching him. He got into...

    2020 governors cup

I think this is the biggest reason things are being cancelled. I also think this is what Bauer was trying to say. I would really like to see the G&F regulations as well. It is easy to say the hell with them and carry on, but if the regulations are not followed, this really opens you up to...

    Trailer bunk slicks

I bought a used boat that had similar plastic slicks on the bunks. These were one piece and ran the whole length of the bunks. They were really hard on the gel coat of the boat. Not sure what they would be like on paint. I took them off right away and just used the carpet.
